Heyloo ! Today we had our fifth lesson of Literature . So , today we had learnt about The Qualities of Mercy . Af first , Mr Tyrus asked everyone to write what we thouqht about the word mercy . I wrote that mercy was begging for forgiveness . Then , Mr Tyrus told us the actual meaning . It means that compassion towards an offender , an enemy , or someone in your power . After that , we had to highlights some words that we do not know and some keys words . Later , we were given homeworks to do . We have to find out How Mercy our God eyn do the qualities of Mercy .

On 25th of January , we had our literature week 4 lesson . We continued learning about the Merchant of Venice . We were told to check through our homeworks . So I asked my fellow classmates what I had to do because I was absent on Friday . Then , Mr Chua let us to work in pairs . So , this piece of work must hand in by this Friday , 290110 .

Merchant of Venice

Today , I was absent from school . So , I'm not sure what my peers had learnt . But I heard that they learnt about Merchant of Venice . Right ?? Hahaha ...
Based on what I heard about this story was it had 4 main characters , Antonio , Shylock , Bassanio and Portia . A little descriptions about this 4 characters .

Antonio , a merchant of Venice was a well-respected businessman .
Shylock , a Jew is living in a world were the Jewish religion is regarded as evil .
Bassanio , good friend of Antonio , wanted to travel to Belmont to try to win the hand of Marriage from Portia, a wealthy heiress .
Portia is an extremely wealthy heiress from Belmont ; Suitors around the world have come to her in hope that they may marry .

Macbeth

William Shakespeare

Today was the second week of Lit's lesson. So today , our teacher , Mr Tyrus was on MC , so we got a relieved teacher. We learnt about William Shakespeare. He was the famous writer. One of the famous book that he had wrote was Romeo and Juliet ; a love story. But today , we learn about his book that called 'Macbeth'. Macbeth was about the three bad witches deciding that their next meeting shall be with Macbeth.

Hey there ! This week was the first lesson , Friday 080110 , I learnt how to write Cinquain. It was a five line poem. There are specific forms within that category that are defined by specific rules and guidelines.
