HELLO ! Today , Ms Maly and Mr Chua came to our class and we greeted them as per normal . Then , Ms Maly told us to push our tables and chairs to the side and she told us to sit in our groups of three . Ms Maly also told us the date of the drama performance for the Macbeth's Witches . It was on 9th April 2010 . Then , suddenly she asked for 10 volunteers and I'm one of them . Ms Maly gave a scene and we all have to act it out . Hehe (: After that , she wanted to do a moving picture . She told us that 2 Thinking had done a great moving picture . So , we also had to prove to the teachers that we could do as better as them . Firstly , Benedict started the moving picture . He acted as a researcher and Syafiq was a tourist with a map , Huzaifah as a tree , Daryl with an axe as a tree chopper, Amy tried to stop Daryl from cutting down trees , Ebony as rabbit , Huijin and Ann Gek as butterfly , Jalilah as butterfly-catcher and so on and forth . Then , it turned out to be a quite good moving picture . After that , Ms Maly told them to get back to their own seats . Then , we were given a piece of paper which required us to write 3 things that we had learnt from the activity that was held just now , 2 things which could be improve on and 1 thing which we wanted to learn more . So that's all for today .

Monday

Monday was our first Literature lesson for term 2 week 1 . Then , Ms Maly gve back our Literature Common Test paper . I was so dissapointed with my own results . Then , Mr Chua came to our class . He then told us about the progress of our daily assignment and announced the results of our daily learning log and the overall of the test results . Then , he left the class after that . Ms Maly took over the class again . She told us to shift all our tables aside and assemble in the empty space . We were so noisy, so she told us to move back again. She waited for us to settle down , then told us to assemble again . It took quite a long time for us to settle down . However , this did not help much. We were noisy, especially the boys , so she punished some of the noisy students . Later , she conducted a very interesting activity when the class was silent . She instucted us to close our eyes and imagine ourselves walking . She told us to question oursleves on the manner of walking when we are showing our emotions. After that she told us to walk around the space , ranging from speed 1 to speed 10 . She taught us how to walk with heavy steps and to walk lightly . After that , she instructed us to form a circle , then form groups of three. Each group should have one classmate of different race . Ms Maly distributed a paper . It contains the information of the activity that we did today. Then , Ms Maly brief us about the play that we are going to do . It was about 3 Macbeth's witches . The drama performance will be graded and marks will contribute to the mid-year examination grade . At the end of the lesson , Ms Maly instructed us to hand up our holiday assignment , about the brochure of our loved one .

Friday

Ms Maly came in and continue with our acting lesson as on monday , we did not do much . She told us to move our tables again . We went out and spread ourselves but the boys were making alot of noises so Ms Maly told us to get back our seats . She was furious this time . We were seated quietly . Ms Maly intructed the even index numbers to assemble at the empty space in the middle , which is our stage . She told us to practise our walking speed and advised us not to knock into each other. The odd numbers did the same thing like us . Then at the end of the lesson , Ms Maly was so happy with our walking speed and how we walk like gangster , child and old person eventhough we were noisy .

Haloo ! Yesterday , I learnt about Love . I love that topic the most . Ms Maly was the one who explained everything about Love . First thing , I got a paper but it turned out to be somekind of brochure . We had to write down a title for our brochure , then she asked us to find 5 boys and 5 girls . They had to give different qualities that must our future partner should have . After everybody had settled down , she told us about Greeks towards Love .

1. EROS - first stage ( lowest stage )

` Passionae love or longing .

2. PHILIA - 2nd stage

` Brotherhood and friendship . Involves loyalty to friends , family and community .

3. AGAPE - 3rd stage ( highest stage )

` A divine , unconditional and self-sacrificing affection . The highest and purest fom of love .

Then , we also had to write a poem for our loved one and our favaourite song lyrics and explained why . And that was our homework for yesterday .

Today , nothing much we learnt as the class were so noisy . Even most of the time Ms Maly had to stop because most of our classmates were kept talking . But we got to learn sonnet . Firstly , the teacher discussed about the sonnet part 1 . Then , we continued learning part 2 .

Despite having our Common Test , we still had our Literature lesson as per normal . Today , we learnt outside the classroom . I meant that Mr Chua and Ms Malyanah told us to line up in twos outside and we were headed to Level 4 Block D . At there got a big empty space . Before we started our lesson , Mr Chua asked the people to stand up for those who did finished up the worksheets . And they got to finish up at the staircase quietly . The others had to find a partner because we had to ask the questions that we wrote the other time . We had to face each other and asked 2 questions first . I partner with Jalilah . Then , the person listening to the questions had to grade for it . Example , I had to start first as my hair was long , then I asked Jalilah my any 2 questions , then she had to grade for my questions . Grade A was for damn good and B was for useless . I also had to do the same for her . After that , we had to find another partner that were different races from us , no matter boy or girl . Ms Maly said that the person whom got the smaller size of shoe had to started first , I think . So I partner with Hui Min and she got to ask me another 2 different questions first . After all was done , Mr Chua told us to line up in twos and went back to our class . Before we ended our lesson , he told to hand in our worksheets to the Literature reps .

Today , we had extra lesson after school at the library . It started at 2.30pm . We mix with 2 Thinking . At first , when we were at the library , Ms Maly told us to read our Merchant of Venice . But some of the students did not understand simple english . They kept talking and Ms Maly kept shouting at them . Then , Ms Maly started to group us into groups of 6 people . 2 Thinking and 2 Dynamic group together . It took quite a long time for Ms Maly to group us because some of them were talking , so it was noisy . Somemore , we wasted our own time . Then , when all people were seated quietly , the lesson started . At the table , there had 2 piece of paper . If I'm not wrong , one piece of paper , we had to write four different questions and maybe that questions will be tested in the Common Test . Then , the other paper was about character traits on Merchant of Venice . Before we do that paper , we had to watch a movie on Merchant of Venice . While we were watching , we also had take down some points or evidence and wrote on that paper . Some of it we can do at home . Then , we can be dismissed . But before that , Mr Tyrus called out some names and we got to stand up . And I'm one of them . Suddenly , he said that he had checked our learning logs and congrats us . We had wrote our learning logs until week 8 . Thank goodness (: . Then we were dismissed . The others had to stayback for a while .

Heyloo ! Today Ms Malyanah was taking in charge of us . She was our trainee teacher . When she came to our class , she ordered us to group in 4 . But my group was a bit special . We had 3 members only . Suddenly , Ms Maly gave us an envelope that was filled with alot of stripes . She said we had to solve the uncomplete poem . It was Shakespeare's poem . At first , it was tough but later , it became more fun . Ms Maly showed us some clue so that it would be more easier for us to solve it . After we all managed to solve the poem , we had to get back to our own seats . Then , returned back the envelope to the teacher . Lastly , we got a piece of paper about the same poem . We had to submit it by Friday .
