Overall today , we had two lessons . First was in the morning and second was the make-up lesson . In the morning , we got our worksheets back about ' What is Mercy ? ' . Then , we went through that worksheets . Mr Chua asked the Buddhist , Christian , Hindu and Muslim peoples to stand up accordingly . Then , we had to volunteer ourselves to share with the other students about our own religions . It took quite a long time for us to say out but Mr Chua did not want to force us to say because its between us and our God . But eventually , some of our students were brave and volunteered themselves . Good Job :) .

Here are some examples of Buddhist , Christian , Hindu and Muslim of God's Mercy :-

` Buddhist : Ebony (:

Let thousands of people receive the light of mercifulness .

Let thousands of people bathe in the great grace of heaven .

Let thousands of people transcend from the sea of suffering .

Do not compare with others .

Do not compete with others .

Establish a right of objective .

Do not hesitate and do hinder yourself .

Accept the sufferings and live with the sufferings .

Feel the tragedies of Mankind .

Give joyousness whenever required .

Show mercy , in return you shall receive mercy .

` Christian : Pei Qi (:

God loves someone . No matter how many times someone sins against Him , he gives us chances . For His glory and Mercy endures forever . A love that outdoes wrong and a loves that covers multiples of sin .

` Hindu : Mr Chua (:

Hindus believes in reincarnation and karma . Hindus are expected merciful like Brahma who is himself merciful .

` Muslim : Huzaifah (:

Allah lets us repent our sins as long as we pray to him and beg forgiveness through our daily prayers .

After finished went through the worksheets , we got a new piece of worksheets . Its was ' Literature - Imagery ( R&J ) ' . We had to understand what Romeo described about Juliet and we also told to compose a description of our loved one using the format used by Romeo . In the afternoon , we all moved to the Movers & Shakers Gallery to check out about our Founding Fathers . We were given a worksheet and had to work in pairs . We also had to find all the answers together and gave to Mr Tyrus on that day .

Today , we learnt a new story . We learnt about Romeo & Juliet . Haha ^^ . We got a piece of paper about characters analysis based on these four main characters . They were Romeo , Juliet , Tybalt and Lord Capulet . Romeo was the Montague's son and Juliet was the Lord Capulet's son . Both of them were fall in love when they first time met together . Tybalt was Capulet's nephew and Capulet was the head of the Capulet family and Juliet's father . After that , all the students were divided into 4 groups and we all have to find a partner . We were group by index numbers . My group will be doing on character analysis of Juliet . Then , Mr Chua showed us a video about Romeo & Juliet so that we could be more understand about that love story . I love the kissing part but My Tyrus didn't showed us . He closed the kissing part with his two hands :( . But luckily I could see some part of it ^^ . Okay .. So after finished watching that movie , we had to the worksheet and the mind map . We had to put in 4 characters traits each and we had to do a creative mind map . So I think that's all . Tata (:

Firstly , Mr Chua told us that we are going to have a Literature common test soon . Then , he told us all the topics that will be tested .

After that , we went through our worksheets that was given last week . Then he called out some names to say out their answers . Suddenly, Mr Chua asked us to hand in our homeworks because he noticed most of us wrote something on the paper . But actually , we are doing our corrections . Then , the teacher gave us an article about " Buddhist , Taoist leaders accept pastor's apology " . It was about revenge and forgiveness . Based on that article , the teacher asked some questions and we had to reflect on those questions .

In my opinion , we should not force other people to convert his or her own religion to other religion unless he or her wants . We ought to respect their religion if we want them to do the same to us too . They had their rights to believe on their own God or Goddess and their religion .

Lastly , we were given an envelope to write down our friend's address . After that , we had to collect our Friendship card and took 1 stamp from the teacher . Paste it on that envelope and returned it to the teacher .

Heyy , today nothing much happened . We got two piece of paper . Both piece of paper , had some passages and we all have to answer the questions based on that passages . It was about Shylock and Antonio . One of the questions was :

Do you think Shylock has a good reason to demand his pound
of flesh ?

I wrote ...

Yes , because Antonio hates Shylock's Jewish nation , and he complains about him , his business , and his hard-earned profit , which called interest . Beside that , Antonio also called Shylock misbeliever , cut-throat dog and spit upon his Jewish clothes and that because he used waht money he owns to do business .

On Monday , we learnt about Friendship . We learnt outside the classrooms because of some students in my class . It was held at the grass patch near our class . It was quite interesting because it was not really a hot day . Then , we continued learning . Based on what the topic we learnt , Friendship , Antonio wanted to sacrifice his life for his best friend , Bossanio because he did not have the money to pay his debt to Shylock . It shows that sacrifices should have in the qualities of Friendship . Then , Mr Chua called out some names for them to share what qualities should frienship have . Later , we went up to our classroom and we were given 1 postcard. We were told to decorate this postcard nicely and give to our bestfriend .

For me , friendship is " a friend in need is a friend in deed " . Friendship is about give and take. It means sacrifice at times too. You sometimes have to give more of yourself than you were prepared to give . Friendship is about giving even if it hurts. That is what makes a truly great friendship .
