Well today, we move further into Scene 3 of AYLT. As we tried to analyse the story, I actually take down notes in my scene script. This will help me understand clearly about the story. I learnt that Elvis was in deep pain, not physically but emotionally because of his loved ones leaving him again and again. The content is about Elvis missing his mother who died due to some illness but Elvis was still so upset about it because he was not there when his mother, Gladys passed away. During that time, he was in the US Army. He felt really sad until he decided to take drugs. The drugs he took were to escape the pain everything he was going through at that point of time. But I don't think it will solved the problem. It will just add on to more problems and it is just harmful. If I were Elvis Presley, I won't take the drugs even if I was really sad. I just let the matter go slowly and try to think about the future. Let the past be bygone (:
